CW Families - The fall season was fun and rewarding, but winter and the holiday season is here!. There are so many training opportunities available throughout the winter - keep them active and keep them on the ball.

Don't delay, don't forget with the holiday craziness on the way - Spring registration for our 2024 season is open! Due to RBJSL deadlines, registration for Travel and birth years 2011-2015 will close at midnight December 31st. Rec registration for years 2016 and younger will remain open until March 1st. All rec/travel coaches and committee members receive a full reimbursement of their child's fees and receive a CWYSC New Balance thermal jacket at the conclusion of the season. The CWYSC are looking to fill the following spots:

• Recreational League Coordinator: A CWYSC board member position who would organize and communicate to Rec coaches the schedule and rosters for our U6/U8 girls and boys. This person works with the President and committee closely in support of our most important program.
• Travel Game/Field Coordinator: A CWYSC board position, and an admin role for someone who can use programs like Excel to coordinate field assignments and reschedules games with RBJSL teams. Requires attending a few in person meetings a year and most tasks can be done by email/PC.
• Rec and Travel Coaches: Coaching isn't as stressful and demanding as you think, it's incredibly rewarding and fun and makes a huge impact in our kid's lives. We are always looking for more coaches to assist at all levels and our goal is to have (2) or more rec coaches for each team and (3) for travel teams. Please step up and make a difference if you can.
• Field Committee: Looking for volunteers to join our Field Committee and assist with the maintenance of our soccer fields. Primarily prior to the season and as needed throughout, these volunteers will learn how we line fields and maintain our fields for the best playing conditions. Requires no meetings and really important to bring new Field Committee volunteers in to keep what we have going and our CW fields constantly improving.
• Fundraising Committee: The Fall Raffle was a huge success and really fun to attend in person. This year we hope to improve on what we started and to add new events to keep our cost to CW families as low as possible while maintaining our fields and equipment at the highest level. To do that we need people with good ideas, time and drive.

General reminders when registering your child:

• Returning players to our program should use the "Returning Player" link only please, our club pays a fee for new players and is covered by the club
• Be sure to register in the correct age group. Examples: 2024 (Season) - 2016 (Birth Year) = U8 (Age Group), 2024 (Season) - 2012 (Birth Year) = U12

Recreational Soccer for birth years 2016 and later (U4-U8):

• Rec registration will remain open until March 1st 2024
• Players in this age group take part in our in-house recreational program
• U6 and younger practice 1 day per week, U7 & U8 practice twice per week (practice days/times will be determined by coaches)
• Depending on weather: Practice will begin when field conditions permit and Games typically begin the first week of April, lasting for ~6 weeks
• All games played on Sunday afternoons at our South Sandy Lane Fields ( Google Maps S. Sandy Lane )
• All rec players receive their uniform from the club and is included with registration fee
• Copy of a birth certificate & credit card payment should be on hand at the time of registration

Travel Soccer for birth years 2011-2015 (U9-U13):

• Depending on weather: Practice will begin when field conditions permit and Games typically begin the first week of April, lasting for ~6 weeks
• New Travel players will be required to purchase their New Balance uniform (~$100)
• Copy of a birth certificate, player photo, and credit card payment should be on hand at the time of registration
• 2010/U14 or older teams will NOT be formed

Coach Registration:

• Coaches at both levels are required to provide clearances for the position and are eligible for full registration reimbursement for their child once approved
